Build a zoo out ofyour own photos.

The zoo is the second half of Gotcha 2.0. Your collection stops being a list and turns into a place: habitats you built, paths you laid, and visitors lining up to see the animals you caught.

The animals are your photos

Every creature in the zoo is cut out of a picture you took. They stand around their enclosure at the size they really were, and you can walk over and pet one.

Visitors show up, and they pay

They pull into the parking lot and come through the turnstiles. Every habitat they can walk to earns money you collect at the register. One with no path to it earns nothing.

Build something worth the drive

A colosseum, a carousel, statues, gazebos, ponds. Landmarks are what turn a field with animals in it into a place people tell their friends about.

Buy the next lot

You open on a few plots with forest on all sides. Buy the next one, clear what is growing on it, keep going. There is always another plot, and it always costs more than the last.

Build the habitat that fits what you caught.

Grassland, jungle, savanna, wetland, desert, ice. Move your animals in and they live there, at the size they really were, in an enclosure you paid for.

The one you start with. Long grass, a drinking pool, and a log for whoever wants to climb it.

Visitors are the score.

The zoo grades itself on what a visitor would notice: how many animals are out, how much variety, what landmarks you put up, whether the place is clean and the animals look happy. Push those up and the gate admits more people, and your zoo gets promoted.

What your visitors notice about the zoo

What you actually do in there.

Feed animals, build habitats, lay paths, and decide what the day's money is going toward.

A habitat and the animals in it

Feed your animals

Each one levels up as you take care of it, and a happy habitat earns more.

The path designer in the park

Lay the paths

Fourteen surfaces, dragged out a tile at a time, from plain sand to a moonlit mosaic.

The daily shop in the park

Spend the money

Habitats, decorations, facilities, and six discounted slots that reset nightly.

The Zoo Pass and its reward tiers

Work the Zoo Pass

Thirty tiers of rewards a season, earned by playing instead of paying.

It runs while you're gone

Registers fill up, visitors come and go, animals get hungry. Kody hands you the rundown the second you open the app.

Your friends have zoos

Visit another collector, walk their zoo, see what they built out of what they caught. You can even feed an animal of theirs that has been waiting too long.

A logbook of the whole run

Every promotion, every record crowd, opening day itself. A month in, it is a genuinely nice thing to scroll back through.

Dress up your collector

Sixty-seven wardrobe pieces, a nameplate on your gate, and any animal you like on the sign out front.

The shop resets daily

Six discounted slots that are gone by morning, a deal of the day, and a free gift that gets better the longer your streak runs.

The Zoo Pass

Thirty tiers of rewards a season, earned by playing. The free track is yours whether or not you take the Gotcha+ one alongside it.

Kody keeps the place running.

He is at the gate when you open the app, and he gives it to you straight: what came in overnight, who has not been fed, and what your visitors are unimpressed by.

Welcome back. You were gone nine hours and we took in 4,120 coins.

Promoted. You're a Country Park now, and the gate admits forty.

Word of mouth is poor. Nothing new has opened in a while.

Catch something. Give it a home.

The gates open as soon as you have your first animal, and that is one photo away.
